THE WAVE FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE
The WAVE transportation system will be switching to our Fall schedule beginning September 2, 2007. Two buses will run their regular routes from the Island to Port Isabel from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
WAVE buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts. Those persons needing additional information regarding ADA accessibility of the buses, and/or individual eligibility for ADA paratransit services can call Public Works at 761-1025. In addition, the WAVE Policy Handbook has information related to ADA policies and procedures. For more information about the schedule or a map of the routes please ask a Wave driver, or you may call 761-1025.
Hours of Operation: 7 am until 7 pm every day of the week.

WAVE Route:
South on Padre Blvd, west over the causeway into Port Isabel (Lighthouse, Library, Las Palmas Plaza, Museum), back over the causeway to the South Padre Island, north to the Convention Centre along Gulf Blvd, turning around to begin again south down Padre Blvd.
