It was the perfect spring weekend. The temperatures were in the mid 70s F, a mild southeast breeze, pure fresh air, crystal clear blue skies, and a very relaxed but playful atmosphere on the beach. It was low tide so the beach was fat and there was plenty of room for everyone. Which was good because the Island was packed with both spring breakers and families for Easter.

These photographs were taken on South Padre Island between March 20 & 22, 2008. They are mostly candid pictures of anonymous people playing and enjoying the beach. Most of these scenes are on the beach in front of the Padre Grand Condominiums. Some are in front of the Radisson Resort.
