Typically groceries stores on the Island are more expensive and have fewer choices than they are in Port Isabel. The best grocery store is HEB located on the west side of PI. If your on the island and don't want to drive to Port Isabel or are in a hurry then Blue Marlin is where to go. Personally I don't like Blue Marlin, the isles are cramped, they don't have a lot of selections and the service and employees are not very friendly or very helpful.
