LAGUNA MADRE BAY FISHING GUIDES
Seatrout, Reds, Snook, Flounder, Black Drum, Skipjacks
Laguna fishing guides go after redfish, seatrout, snook, and tarpon along the jetties. Along with these one can expect to catch some incidentals including ladyfish, black drum, flounder, jack crevalle, mangrove snapper, shark, and grouper. The most popular sport fish are the reds, (red drum) that are still very plentiful in the bay. The flats offer tailing redfish that feed head-down which leaves their tails cutting above the surface of the water. Tailing redfish occur from a single fish to groups numbering 50 or more.
